"Hang On To Your Joy"

The women of the Scotland Mission met for their annual WM retreat May 17 - 19, 2002 held at Balcary House, Hawick Scotland. The theme for the retreat was "Hang on to Your Joy." The speakers for the retreat were Anne-May Wollan, WM director for Trans-European Division, and Heather-Dawn Small, Associate Director for GCWM.

Despite the cold, overcast weather, the climate in Balcary House was warm and loving, overflowing with joy. The thirty ladies present enjoyed the fellowship as can be seen in their smiling faces in the picture that was taken on the last day of the retreat.

Twenty of the women in attendance were from Scotland which represents 1 in 20 of the SDA membership of Scotland. There is much to be done in this country where WM is concerned, and the women are willing and energetic and ready to be used where God desires.

Pray for our women in this mission that they will continue to carry the warm glow of Jesus in their hearts and continue to share it with those they meet.
