Four Couples Marry at Evangelistic Program in the Inter-American Division (IAD)

Four couples were married and then baptized at the recently concluded Family Life Evangelistic program in Colombia.

This was a reaping campaign sponsored by Women’s Ministries. Facilitators were Carolina de Ortiz, Domi de Perez, Women’s Ministries Director of Union and Mission respectively, and Jaime Rivero, Pastor of the Central Church in Cucuta.

Every night for one week about four hundred church members and one hundred guests listened to family and doctrinal themes combined in a single presentation. They were especially attracted to the topics Is it Really Love? Sweetheart I am Pregnant, Ten Things Every Person should know about the Man, How to Help my Child Obey the Happy Way. In addition several persons came for counseling during the three mornings that were set aside for this purpose.

At the end of this program 56 persons were baptized with twenty- two others who requested baptism and fifteen Bible studies.

We praise God for what He has accomplished and pray that He will keep these new believers faithful until the end.
